Our roots

The Crystal story

Lotus's investment philosophy has its roots in the extraordinary journey of Crystal.

Established in Kutaisi by young people displaced from Abkhazia, Crystal grew from a grassroots initiative into a leading Georgian financial institution, ultimately becoming a licensed microbank.

This journey demonstrated that a clear social mission, entrepreneurial discipline and customer focus can create both lasting impact and a sustainable financial business.

Today, Lotus brings together the experience and commitment of Crystal's early founders with the capabilities and perspectives of new, like-minded investors.
